Wow you guys- this summer was a doozy and it went by FAST.  I think all of Leelanau County was booming with summer tourism in a way that we have never seen before.  For a small business, it is truly a good problem to have. But as someone who loves to soak up Summer in Northern Michigan, it was a struggle to say the least. We didn't take our boat out at all during the month of August because I was just so drained from keeping the store operational all day every day, that even uncovering it seemed like too much.  I was scrambling to keep inventory on the floor, and called upon Molly a few times to help me do things that only she or I know how to do, such as enter purchase orders, balance the books, etc.  I was grateful for the help that I had, but feel like I could have used another full time employee to help save me from the burnout while keeping things running smoothly around here. Here's to hoping that the right person comes around for next season. 

Fall styles are hitting the floor- there is something so special about freshening up your wardrobe as the season changes.  I always love a new sweater, or cozy long sleeve shirt as the nights start to get cooler, and the air feels more crisp.  I've been working hard to catch up with getting merchandise online to reflect what we have in store- so be sure to check out what we have to offer on our online store!

The sought after Leland Vineyared Vines long sleeve shirts are here- and this time we have both Men's and Women's cuts.  Last July I got in the short sleeve version and based off of the recomendation of my sales rep, I only ordered unisex sizing, and the feedback that I received helped to guide me with my purchasing this time around.  So the Men's (unisex) sized shirts you see below are in Navy, while the Women's shirts are in White.
