My Captured Journey crushes Leland Blue stones that they find, and they include a variety of stones colors in each earring.
- 316L Surgical Grade Stainless steel (Hypo-allergenic, waterproof, does not tarnish)
- Measures approx. 8 mm across front Sealed with a professional grade resin. It is UV proof, waterproof, highly scratch and "fogging" resistant.
- Each set will look slightly different due to natural variances in Leland Blue stones, but we make sure that each one is amazing!
- What is Leland Blue? Leland Blue is slag leftover from the Industrial smelting industry in Leland Michigan. Slag is a byproduct of the smelting process. Leland Blue is the mix of blue glass with other chemical byproducts — but this varying chemical medley causes the slag to appear blue, purple, gray, or shades of green.
